Saver for iFunny - Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Saver for iFunny ("the extension") is an independent Chrome extension that adds a download button to images and videos on ifunny.co. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with iFunny or its owners. The extension is free.

2. What information the extension handles

When you open ifunny.co, the extension looks at the page you are viewing to find the images and videos in posts, and reads their file addresses and post identifiers. This happens inside your browser. When you click a download button, the extension asks Chrome to save that file to your device, named after the post identifier.

The developer does not receive your browsing history, the pages you view, the files you save or any personal information. The extension contains no advertising, no usage analytics, no tracking code and no remote code. It does not create accounts, require a login or take payments.

Saving a file means your browser requests it from iFunny's file server (img.getfn.io), just as it does when you view the post. That request is between your browser and iFunny and is covered by iFunny's own privacy policy.

3. What is stored on your device

• Settings: whether the download buttons are switched on, saved in chrome.storage.local.
• A counter: the number of files you have saved, shown in the popup, saved in chrome.storage.local.
• Downloaded files: saved in the iFunny folder inside your Downloads folder. Removing the extension does not delete them.

This data stays on your device. It is not synced and not sent anywhere. Uninstalling the extension removes the settings and the counter.

4. Why the extension requests its permissions

The extension requests no other permissions and no access to other sites.

5. Third parties

The extension does not share data with third parties and does not use third-party services. The only outside connection is the file request to iFunny described in section 2.

6. Your choices and responsibilities

You can switch the buttons off in the extension popup, or remove the extension at any time. Content on iFunny belongs to its creators and to iFunny. Only save and use content you have the right to use, and follow iFunny's terms.

7. Children's privacy

The extension is not directed to children and collects no personal information from anyone.

8. Changes to this policy

If how the extension handles data changes, this policy and its effective date will be updated. This policy describes version 1.1.0.
